Longyearbyen, Svalbard Longyearbyen Kino Longyearbyen Kino (Norwegian: Longyearbyen Cinema) is located at Longyearbyen Kulturhus (Longyearbyen Culture House) in Longyearbyen, an administrative center of Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Sea, about midway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. Area: 23,561 sq mi (61,022 sq km), population: about 2,500. Longyearbyen population: more than 2,000. It is one of the northernmost towns in the world.
