Ali Akdeniz Ali Akdeniz has been one of the first line producers in Turkey with his production company, Panfilm, which offered local facilities, equipment and crew for foreign productions. Line productions of “Armageddon,” “James Bond - The World Is Not Enough” are among numerous successful projects of Akdeniz as well as Fatih Akin’s “Head On,” which won Berlin Festival’s first prize, Jackie Chan's “Accidental Spy,” Oguzhan Tercan’s “Robbery Ala Turca,” Dervis Zaim’s “Elephants and the Grass,” and many TV films and documentaries. Özogul became the account manager of Fatih Akin’s “Head On," winner of Berlin Festival’s first prize. Then he became the co-producer of Fatih Akin’s last feature “The Edge of Heaven” together with Ali Akdeniz, Funda Ödemis, Andreas Thiel, Klaus Maeck and Fatih Akin. company co-founded by producers Ali Akdeniz, Erhan Özogul and Funda
Ödemis. In addition, company serves as casting, logistic and accomodation
agency in Turkey. The
company became widely known for its "The Edge Of Heaven,"
which won Best Script and Ecumenical Jury Price in Cannes in 2007.
