Saint Lucia Film Commission Saint Lucia is an independent island nation in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. The tropical island has beautiful beaches, mountains, exotic plants and the Qualibou volcano with its boiling springs. SLFC is a film agency which is the filmmakers first point of contact for help and advice on planning and undertaking productions in Saint Lucia. The following are the requirements for applying for permission to film in Saint Lucia: - Complete the application form provided by the St. Lucia Film Commission; - Submit a list of equipment and materials to be imported and exported for the shoot (include quantities, model, serial numbers, values and country of origin); - Submit a list of crew, their position in the shoot, relevant passport details and estimated dates of arrival and departure; - Submit a script synopsis in English with the application form (optional). The applicant should forward the above information to the Film Commission Officer at least five working days prior to arrival of crew and cast. For special requests, allow more time, depending on the nature of the request (e.g. the need for Police or Marine Police assistance in the case of traffic/crowd control, road blocks, etc.).
