Film Auckland
Auckland is New Zealand's largest city. Uniquely set between two harbors, amongst 11 extinct volcanoes and numerous islands in the Hauraki Gulf makes it a great place to create films. Film Auckland was established in 2003 by the local screen industry community alongside Auckland City Council and Waitakere Enterprise/Waitakere City Council to promote the region as a destination for screen production and post production. Voted upon by members, the Film Auckland committee represents all sectors of the film industry. The Auckland region has the infrastructure to support any productions, from locations scouting to editing and post-production. Film Auckland connects foreign production studios with the local crew and services.
