Bali International Film Festival Bali International Film Festival (or simply Balinale) was established in 2007 by Christine Hakim, Indonesia's internationally recognized film actress and producer, and Deborah Gabinetti, director of Bali Film Center, Indonesia. The festival cooperates with Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Bali Governor's Office and Regency of Badung. Balinale Educational Program provides free creative seminars and workshops for thousands of school students to inspire learning all aspects of filmmaking including script writing, producing, directing, editing and acting.
