13th Screen Actors Guild Awards The 13th Annual SAG Awards ceremonies honoring the best in film and television acting achievement for the year 2006 were simulcasted live from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on TNT and TBS on Sunday, January 28, 2007. The nominees were announced on January 4, 2007. The production design and decor for the 13th SAG Awards contrasted old world theatricality with the modern mechanics required to capture the moving image. Continuing the SAG Awards tradition of spotlighting the guild's diverse talent, Kiefer Sutherland introduced a salute to “Actors Who are Heard but Not Seen.” “Babel,” “Little Miss Sunshine” and “Dreamgirls” received the highest number of nominations among the film categories with each getting three, two for acting and one for ensemble performance. In the television categories, “The Sopranos” and “Broken Trail” had the most nominations with three. The mini-series “Elizabeth I” and drama “Grey's Anatomy” won the most awards with two each. Dick Van Dyke presented the SAG's 43nd Life Achievement Award to the actress Julie Andrews.
